We’re all worried that we’re going to be taken advantage of. Or, that we’re not going to get what’s ours. The reality is: you might not get what’s yours, and it’s very likely you will be taken advantage of at some point in your life. Almost all creatives have experienced this. Gentleness, a fruit of the Spirit, feels like anti-Darwinism. It seems counterintuitive to say that life may be more than survival of the fittest, and that only the strong survive.
